1. Is it a hybrid programme?

Yes. All of the learning on the programme (masterclasses and workshops) takes place online. Additionally, all 1-2-1s with our expert facilitators and experts in residence are booked online through our platform, AcceleratorApp.

2. What is the time commitment required?

Founders are required to spend between 4-10 hours a week completing activities related to MSDUK Accelerator. This does not mean that founders will attend 10 hours of workshops every week, but they might need to allocate this time to complete tasks given by facilitators (for example, conducting customer interviews, updating the website, refining sales message and strategy).

3. What are the eligibility requirements? 


All applicants must meet all criteria listed below: 

  • Your business is a for profit, Business to Business (B2B) enterprise, registered with a national Chamber of Commerce and with the tax authority in your country.
  • You have already developed a product or prototype that has first users or customers
  • Your business is physically located in UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Sweden or The Netherlands. 
  • The minority/ethnic owner(s) of the business excluding white ethnic minority origin must be active in management and daily business operations.

UK applicants must also belong to one of the categories below (click here):

  • Non-white ethnic minority business: one founder of an ethnic minority origin excluding white ethnic minority origin holding a majority (51% or greater) ownership
  • Non-white ethnic minority-controlled business: a business founded with the majority held by a founder of an ethnic minority origin excluding white ethnic minority origin
  • Non-white ethnic minority freelancer: a person of an ethnic minority origin excluding white ethnic minority origin
  • Non-White ethnic minority owner(s) of the business are UK citizens or have an indefinite leave to remain the UK or any other visa that leads to the ILR.

 Applicants from the European countries listed above must also belong to one of the categories below:

  • ethnic minority/migrant sole traders – a person of an ethnic minority origin excluding white ethnic minority origin who is registered as self-employed;
  • ethnic minority/migrant-owned businesses – in which at least 50% of the shares are owned by people from ethnic minorities excluding white ethnic minority origin, whether they founded the firm, inherited their shares or acquired a majority stake in the firm;
  • be a permanent Resident or a citizen of  Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Sweden or The Netherlands.
